Hello Center 4! My name is Miah Pavlik, I am in the Alma High School National Honors Society, and I am your new representative to the MAHS State Board! I am thrilled to be the Center 4 Delegate and I can’t wait to work with everyone this year! I would like to inform you of some of the upcoming conferences. The first is the Honors Society Advisors Workshop on October 18th. This should be a wonderful way for the advisors to start the year off! The second conference is the first of the Fall Training Institutes. For both high school and middle level students, this is an amazing opportunity to learn new leadership skills and share ideas with other students. This will also be a time for students to learn about the state charity for this year, Alternatives in Motion. This year I will be highlighting important events not only at the state level, but also events going on within Center 4. To do this I will need to know what is happening at your school! If your Honors Society puts on a new fundraiser, learns about a new charity or passion to action group, or you have any other information that the entire center could benefit from: e-mail me!
