Hope everyone had a relaxing summer and ready to go back to school!! To start off, my name is Cloryssa Pennington and I will be a senior this year at Troy Athens High School. I am very involved in the council at my school, holding the position as Vice President. I am also involved in NHS and cheerleading. There are many fun and exciting Fall Training Institutes coming up!! Check out the list of dates and locations on our home page. To register your school just visit the MASC/MAHS website and click on Online Registration. (www.michiganprincipals.org/students) This years state charity is Alternatives In Motion. Most insurance companies have a policy where their client can only receive one wheelchair per lifetime!! That means only one wheelchair for the rest of your life! Worse yet, what if that person doesn't have any insurance at all? What then? Wheelchairs are expensive! This charity provides people in need with wheelchairs that accommodate their disabilities. To learn more about Alternatives in Motion visit their website! (www.alternativesinmotion.org) That’s all for now! If you ever have any questions/comments/concerns please feel free to E-MAIL me at cpennington1@gmail.com In Leadership, Cloryssa Pennington
